Imam Alis teachings in the field of management may be a guide for managers. In some cases, the teachings have been given in a chain of universal propositions and rules on the basis of which the question rises as: how the rules may be extracted and related to present principles of management? Following the purpose, one should notice clear denotations of text being based upon verbal and reasonable rules; present rules of management may be used for confirming and making them clearer only. By the method one can meet some expressions appearing as managerial rules. It would be necessary for the researcher to be careful on such methodological faults as eclecticism, defective examination, arbitrary using of Imam`s speeches and the difficulties of interdisciplinary studies. The managerial rule centered on in the paper is the rule avoiding dispersed measures in the field of management extracted from Imam`s saying: those of dispersed actions are exposed to defeat.

All managers try to succeed in their management; Imam Ali (a) has known a successful manager to base his/her purpose on God`s satisfaction. As Imam viewed, a manager should pass through five steps to attain such a purpose; the steps include: doing the works taken as excusable by God and His servants, being well-famed among God`s servants, founding beautiful buildings in cities, completing the grace upon those under his office and making their benevolence multiple. Managers that intend to attain minor and major purposes need three indexes: knowledge, ability and purity. In this paper essential grounds for attaining the index of knowledge have been studied. These grounds include accompanying scholars and using their thoughts, noticing consultation, regarding experience, paying attention to Divine traditions, far-sightedness and considering future, distributing works with regard to knowledge and training employees.

Studying the nature and various aspects of ethical culture of jaheliyah is a necessary ground for the Quran and Hadith to be understood better. Ethical system of jaheliyah has been reflected in Nahj al-Balaghah and Imam Ali`s positions against jaheli religion, belief and ethics is fully clear. In this paper Imam`s view on jaheli ethical culture has been brought into consideration; in the paper, description, valuably measuring and rejection of jaheli ethical culture. So the study has concluded that Imam has rejected jaheli ethics completely. What viewed in the paper differs from views of those scholars like Izutsu. Since they, referring to some ethical cases like benevolence and bravery, have partly sanctioned the culture. While for Imam, such qualities lack ethical value and originate from tribe prides.

Oath of allegiance in Islamic literature is regarded as a way for showing faithful adherence to sovereignty as giving the right of ruling to it; this manner of citizens` political participation has been sanctioned by Divine sovereignty. By the right of sovereignty is meant people`s right to decide their socio-political fate. Oath of allegiance in Imam Ali`s view and action is of a very considerable resemblance with republicanism and sovereignty of nation`s will; for Imam, oath of allegiance is regarded as the way for government to be actualized and nationally agreeing with. In the paper, literal and technical meanings of oath of allegiance, its necessity and importance and its historical background in Ghadir Khom and after the caliphate of the first caliphs with regard to Imam Ali`s sayings in the field have been presented and explained. As explained in the paper, fundamental effect of oath of allegiance in the establishment of Alawi just government as well as the measures for a valid oath of allegiance have been studied. In addition, some cases of Imam`s artistically image-creating in describing oath of allegiance have been shown.

Meaningful silence or absence of lingual items play notable part in discourse analysis and, as a denoting form, is capable of expressing ideas and completing speeches. As silence may be known to be a kind of relative absence and cause some happenings to be commented, silences are of denotation and as a part of language intend to affect the addressees by not expressing information or deleting it. Imam Ali`s letters, in addition to their guiding nature, may be regarded as those texts capable of study by the newest teachings in linguistics. In the paper, Imam Ali`s letter to Mu`awiyah, with an emphasis on legality of Alawi caliphate and opposing the opposite discourse, is reread on the basis of the theory of discourse silence. In the study, the theory of silence discourse has been focused on in two primary pivots in structural and semantic levels and, then, going beyond the text and relying on lingual texture, context and situation texture seeks to analyze the denotations of applicability of the discourse. As described in the paper, occurring some cases of structural, semantic and applied levels of silence in the letter show the effect of speaking in brief, convergence, imagination, attracting the addressees` mind and rebuking.

With a glance at the history of revealed Prophets, religious teachings and the speeches of religious leaders like Imam Ali, one would directly perceive that Prophets` mission includes earthly life and the hereafter both. Now the question occurs as: why has the domain of Prophets` mission limited and the greatest part of its teachings suppressed and its vital application left? It is hypothesized that complete program of Islamic leadership including prophecy, Imamate and faqih guardianship has refuted secularism, though some defending it try to attribute low importance to religion and its part in human life. As explained in the paper, in Alawi School, however, the theory is refuted; its principles are known as descriptive and, therefore, exposed to fault and may not answer human necessary needs. Such being the case, human essential need to religion and revealed teachings is not temporary. For human needs may not be satisfied by human limit knowledge and it is only Islam that supported by absolute knowledge can satisfied them.
